Got the transmission built with the correct internals.

Changed up the rear end as well so now the car has black v1 arms.

The whitened nylon shows every little spec of dirt.

I had to be patient but Jeremy from Off The Grid Designs was the one who painted this up. It’s amazing how much better it looks in person. It’s such an amazing look with lots of semi translucent metal flake. He took the time today to cut and mount it as close to the original as he could.

So in getting more details on the build. The decals were originally printed by Complex Ink. The chassis protector is going to be a challenge. It was from Scvrc which is now closed. Apparently the dog was called carter and winners of club races received carter bucks to spend in the shop. The chassis protector featured that design.
