Tamiya M04 build week recently.... gave this the once-over, ready for a new home:
and built these up from a big lot of parts I got a little while ago:
Sadly, I don't have any spare 225mm Mini bodies other than a couple of Protoform SoCal panel wagons.... so they will have to do. They are designed to take touring size wheels, which kind of spoils the Mini theme.... but oh well.
Next up, painting, radio gear, testing, and then can move on to M03s or M05s....

Look out for Todd K. - he's a convicted serial killer!!!
I experimented with touring car wheels and tires on the front of my KF2. I have limiters in the shocks already, and front shocks on the rear, but wanted to get it lower still. When my new kit arrived, a Schumacher Mission FT, an idea occurred to me. I was afraid the tiny wheels wouldn't be able to steer the car with the much larger rears pushing it, but they actually worked out very well.
I am not a fan of cab-forward buggies, but at least this one looks the business now Gratuitous shot before cleaning after a day at the track:
Wow guys!...Life has taken me in a different direction. I can't believe it's been over 6 years since I've posted anything on this site...I have lots of catching up to do. Racing died out for me several years ago, and since my last post, I rebuilt the tractor (yet again), Decided to go modern with a Traxxas Slash, and scratch built a sprint car with spare parts and a roll cage.
Here's a couple of basic pics:
Had a little time today, away from the oval car, to move forward with the Viper and get the tires trued. Love the car and love the wheels ............... but finding the appropriate body that will fit right is becoming a chore! It'll be fine though.

I build RCs like people would have done back in the '90s ..................................... if they had 3D printers.
I installed a new, rear 7-hole bulkhead and a nice used Litespeed Litesink motor plate on my custom black & green Losi JrxPro build.. it really completes the look I have been going for! This also has a Thorp filled gearbox and Losi Slipper.
Russ Winn! Welcome back! Life man, just keeps happenin'!
Brad!!!
All that green!! I think it's totally bitchin'! Got the super sliders and Tecnacrafts, everything looks sweet! Is there a build thread for that bad mamajamma that I missed?
OK, I'm all tapped out on exclamation points for the day.

If there was ever an RC vehicle that needed a scale Daisy Duke figure sitting on it, that tractor is it! So cool! Does the steering wheel move with the steering?

That tractor is sweet! I want to see a video of it driving!
I'll have to take some video shots of it. This is the 3rd time I've rebuilt it...I'll post it on the original thread.

That would be perfect! The steering wheel doesn't move, But the doll would finish it off.
BattleTrak - Love the build! I haven't seen a JRX up close in 35 years! Well done!
Got the Viper close to finished up. Found a body that I think will be perfect for it, but had to order it from across the pond, so it will be on hold until then. Got a sprint car ready to take its place on the mat.

A little more work on the oval car today. The rear trans adaptor / bulkhead / rear bumper mount is just about 95% there. There are two little spots that need to be shaved about 1mm for it all to click together. Then need to figure out rear body mount mounts, and lipo battery mount. As with all old chassis I work with (at least those in good condition), my goal is to make no new holes.

Big jumps and take some pictures of cars in action :D Looks amazing, I'd love a garden!
Thanks to Hoopty for the design, and Mrlexan for the production. They look great. And Thanks again Jay for the body and wing to put them on, can't wait to get 'em dirty. :D

The seller even included a free gift of 4 bearings. Wow, can't wait for my tires to show up too (same as what's in the pic here).
Got a bunch of stuff now, including the RC Channel rear metal kit, SRB alloy chassis and nose. Just need the RC4wd...
Last post
since there is no rc4wd local distributor here in our place, they didnt ship here without approval, wasted a lot of good stuff from them (we need to order in a long process)
Picked this one up today. This is my brother's original RC10 from the 80's. It started life as an original A stamped gold pan, but he modified it with the long arms and longer shocks in the front along with new arms in the rear. After sitting for...

That losi definitely looks a bit sad, looks to be the bones of a pro with some randomness on it, rare to see one with a mechanical fire starter on it :)
Went to my neighbour town today to the only local hobby shop (20 min drive), just to get some UM-parts for my Hot Trick Ultima.
I've been browsing his old stock many times before, but for some reason I didn't buy anything except some Lazer, Triumph...

No, the Hot Trick's is from various sources. Mostly ebay. Alot came from Prince Steve here on the forum.
Still looking for some parts though. I wont stop until it's completed!
