They were triplets actually. Chip never got the recognition that his brothers did, but was a heck of a driver on the local circuit.

I build RCs like people would have done back in the '90s ..................................... if they had 3D printers.

I have a King Cab coming in the mail and would like to put a Stealth trans in it. The question I have is which one? I read in this thread that the T2 and the T4 both have 2.60 ratios. What about the T3? Same as the T2, T4? Are they all physically...

Yes, but as I showed in my video the idler is most of the problem :wink:

FYI, there is a guy that is making a replacement Idled gear for the new China stealth transmissions. The gears are aluminum and worked great in the tranny. It's a lot...

I've got a 7001 RC10T with the Stealth Trans. I've been running a 5700Kv Castle, which in hind sight is way overkill. It seems to slip pretty hard out of corners and over jumps now that I'm trying to race at my local track even though I've turned...

I second the upgrade to the v2 slipper. I've bought parts to upgrade most of my older stealths. Sometimes if you do get some slipping, you can rough up the slipper disc(s) with some fine grit sand paper. Also wouldn't hurt to rebuild the diff.

Today I took apart my stealth to put in a B4 top shaft and slipper. When I assemble the trans, the slipper hub rubs the motor plate. When I did this mod in my ReRe I had zero issues. I am using all new B4 parts and bought the same for each vehicle....

Just wondering I have 3 rc10's running the b4 top shaft with no issues with rubbing.lucky maybe?I am not using the spacer and one setup is with the rouge case.if I do not have any rubbing with the slipper plate I do not need the spacer correct? Also...
