My son, wife and myself all have Sanwa M17 transmitters. We love them and wouldn't want anything else. The touch pad takes a little getting use to but once you do its simple.

I decided to go with the MT-5 instead. Couldn't bring myself to spend almost 600 on a radio.

How much more do you get over the mt 5 and mt r? I know you can customize the feeling and ergonomics but they are all the same protocol. Is there crazy mixing or something going on?
