The grizzly hovers about 1/4" off the ground haha.
So the rack is just long planks that are spaced 3/4" apart. Glued and brad nailed to the mdf backing, it's super tough. The planks are also 3/4" (previously I used 1/2 and they were just fine, but the cost of 3/4 was within $2 a sheet so I just didn't all in 3/4). They friction fit but when weight is on them they stay in pretty good.

I don't have much for pics and I'm away from home right now. Here's a couple videos to hold you over. Driving with none hand and filming with the other
Snow

Ice (way more fun!)

The grizzly is one of my favorites but it's also a "never meet your heroes" sort of rig. They are really quite poorly designed and pretty fragile. Of course that's why I love em haha.

Started stripping down the pile of Tamiya M05 chassis hulks I got a few months ago.... planning on rebuilding, but thinking I may have bitten off a bit more than I can chew!
Watch this space!
With luck, can build this pile into 3 or 4 runners... somewhere else in another box, I have all the hubs, arms, gears and ancillary junk. Watch this space!

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Finally got the body trimmed for this one. Would have been sooner but the first body had some noticeable defects in it, so I had to wait on a replacement (shout out to Amain!).
Its a JConcepts Protector but I decided on a different wing. I think the Finnisher wing is a little too pretentious for a small tire, short arm car.
Anybody care to guess what the wing is for? Hint, it was a mid 80's joint collaboration between two hobby companies.

Always looking for new and interesting ways to waste money.

Not much today but did get to run a battery in the JRX Pro at my local carpet track. Actually handles pretty well with the new setup. Also tested some wheel and tire stuff on the Mini JRXT which was a lot of fun, especially the dirt. I wish I took video.
Consistency is the key I keep misplacing.

It's hearing how much of a problem you have that reminds me of mine
