ID old fantom?

Post by sbednara »

Looking for an ID and specs on this old fantom motor. Its been in a box for years. installed it in my rc10ce a while back and ran it a few times. car seems to move really well with it. just curious what this is. In the last pic, its says ROAR 91 on the bottom of the bell.

I reached out to fantom with these pics and unfortunately they couldnt help. They thought this was from mid 80's which predates current owner. but that doesnt make sense to me with ROAR 91 written on the motor.

The pinion end looks like it uses a Parma can.
