Is that a TRX3 / TCP front bulkhead?

Hi guys,

I need help identifying the front bulkhead in the attached picture. To me it looks like a Traxxas TCP / TRX 3 front aluminum bulkhead, since it has the kickup built in. But the 2-piece design is throwing me off.

The guy who’s selling it in a lot describes the lot as associated parts.

I'm not at all familiar with any of the AE bulkheads. It does look very Traxxasish. What comes to mind for me is that the arm mounts look wider than the TCP. it could be a Slash/Rustler/Bandit/SRT compatible. It does appear to be two pieces, so that is, yeah, off-throwing. I've only seen the two pieces when someone is attempting to retrofit a Bandit bulkhead to a TRX-3.

I'll post some comparison pictures today at some point if it's not solved before then.

Edit: I can't say for sure, but the arm mounts look wider on the aluminum one.

That, and the bumper mounting holes would be too narrow if it was mounted in a TRX-3 configuration..
R1/2 of modified Rustler 2530 bulkhead for use with TRX-3. Green hole is drilled for correct bumper hole spread, Red hole is original bumper hole for full width Rustler use.

I guess it could be a one-off Manobet kind of piece. I could be off in my assessment also.

Sorry, I don't have an unmodified 2530 bulkhead for comparison.

Thanks for the comparison TRX-1-3.

I will look at the actual bulkheads once I get back home.

I've done the Bandit/Rustler to TRX3 bulkhead conversion myself, works perfectly. Only difference, I drilled the bumper instead of the bulkhead.

On an upcoming project this could come in handy, if it is a direct fit, even if I would have to use Bandit arms.

Another detail that seems to confirm your suspicion is the distance of the shock tower mounting holes, so that does look like a Bandit / Rustler bulkhead.
