JRX2 5-Link Help

Post by FasterLouder »

I think I've found the four lower suspension links in the parts lot that came with my JRX Pro,that I want to install in place of the A-Arms that are on my JRX2,but they seem way too short-they measure 61mm,end to end.
Does anyone know how long these links should be?

Mine measure about 70mm, center to center of the holes.

Offhand I can't think of any shorter Losi link. The side/trailing links are both longer.

These are the shorter set.

the 3 molded link types on the standard 5-link setup measure about 70, 83, and 95mm center to center.
The toe-in links are .050" shorter than the 70mm standard links.
at 61mm end to end I'm not sure what you've got. there are lots of other brand cars that use solid plastic camberlinks, maybe it is from one of them.
Post up a picture of what you have and I'm sure someone can figure it out.

maybe they're camber links for the traxxas trucks (stampede, rustler)? just throwing that possibility out there.

I think they're off some junker Tamiya-there were quite a few Tamiya parts in that parts lot and a lot of Tamiyas had non adjustable camber links,but...
I think I've just scored that RC10/JRX2 thingy as a rolling chassis for NZ$60!
5-Link,here we come! :D
