I use a couple sizes of sanding drums, then I take a really sharp exacto blade and trim off the flash. If it needs more work I might use a small fine file or some wet or dry sandpaper, grade depending on situation.

I've seen several references on the Internet about trimming the receiver wires on the Spektrum receivers, but I haven’t found anything that was really clear as to why. :? I’ve used these radios for a while now- and they work fine in stock form - but...

One thing you could do is to make an antenna loom .

Take a scrap piece of lexan and drill holes in it to take up the extra antenna. Drill the holes so that when you thread the wire through it makes a zig zag pattern.

A bit late to the party but you can actually recycle 1/8 tires to make perfect 1/10 tires. 1/8 tires seem to have a higher rubber content than 1/10 foam which make for killer tires that you can basically get for free. Most 1/8 guys just chuck away...

It looks like the top one I posted is trimmed a lot higher/narrower in the nose than the latter few. Is that right?
