These old school cars are making a comeback! I love them! Going to get me a Datsun 510 BRE soon, on a Cup Racer chassis!

I don't remember which distributor it was but I did find one in the UK for dr. robotnik about a year ago. If you PM terry.sc he will surely know.

Re: TA02 Datsun 240z rally car
Pulled this one off the back burner!
Figured I might as well finish this one. My last idea for a way to hold the lights didn't work out. So I simply bent up a piece of metal, like I should have done in the first place, and mounted the lights. I used the Marchal lights that were on my Brat and 2 lights off a Hilux rollbar so the 2 center lights will work. I still need bulbs and to add the lenses.
I wanted this to look like an old school Japanese rally car so I used period decals. Still not 100% on wheels but they will do for now. I know, I need to cut the body post. Switched the motor out cause that Tamiya Sport Tuned motor was rusted out on the inside. Should have it out for a run tomorrow. The chassis looks so new and clean, I kinda almost don't wanna get it dirty.

Re: TA02 Datsun 240z rally car
This thing drives nicely, real smooth. Batteries crapped out on me real quick (been having a real problem with my NIMH batteries lately, won't keep a charge) so I didn't get to run it long.
Still need to paint the inside of the grill black and maybe add an exhaust pipe and side mirrors.

Had the 240z out this morning. Snatched a few shots.
Needs a bath now.
