I just checked the XX body with the Pro SE tower in the concomitant thread "Generic body for JRX Pro SE" ...

I see how it was cut off at the rear (which I normally do with my buggies), but I think that if carefully cut it should fit the non-SE towers.

I guess we'll have to see!

I'd be interested to see if the JRXS Pro SE bodyshell fits the XX. Joel Johnson used a different body to the Jammin/Standard XX at the 1993/94 worlds, I am not sure what one it is, maybe it was a prototype, maybe it was a JRXS Pro SE one :?:

Is this Joel Johnson's XX? Looks most like the Jammin XX shell that you have - but maybe a bit different around the back of the side windows? Doesn't look like the JRXProSE shell.

P.S; Nice XX build - that Novak car has some real nice parts on it 8)

Yes thats it!!!! Are they still available to buy? Might be worth doing as a replica, or even just for fun! :D

It looks like the standard XX shell but without the high sidepods towards the rear, which IMO is what ruins it...

Here's a link to GJW's showroom of the shell, could be on to a winner here!

I believe BrandonG got some reproduction shells done for the JRX Pro.... he might still have some left?? Having just checked out an image of my Pro I've realised that the shell is different to the one that came supplied with the Pro SE - the SE has an indent along the front 'bonnet' where as the Pro is smooth, I hadn't noticed that before!... I don't think anyone is reproducing the Pro SE shell??

Nice idea to try & replicate Joel's XX - i'm not sure anyone's done that before?

Well I finally finished this. Nothing special, but its taken me a while to get it where I wanted it. I can't wait to put it on the track later this month once my new lipos arrive.

My Gens Ace lipo doesn't fit in the XX battery tray. It's slightly too wide. I'm not sure how to fix the issue so watch out for that when your lipos arrive.

Whats the capacity of your Gen Ace that you tried? I've read that 3600 to 4000 mah should fit. I dont own any lipos at all right now so I cant test ay out.
