Thank you sir! I don't mind at all. I use lace. I spray my fades first on the edges, let that dry, lay down the lace and spray my dark color through (blues in this case), and then back it all in white. I hope this helps. If you need a more in depth explanation, I will be happy to help.

Ah the old lace trick, I wondered if that was how it was done, but thats quite an unusual pattern Seen that technique done on 1-1 rods & customs etc

BF just took my masking off an have some weeping that went through,alcohol must have lifter up on last cleanup. any ideas on gettin the paint off Thanks JohnnySr.

What kind of paint did you use? If it is water based, just take a Q-tip dipped in rubbing alchohol, squeeze it out a bit and wipe off the paint carefully. If you used Pactra or something like that, do the same thing except dip the Q-tip in Laquer Thinner. Be careful though, because laquer thinner will eat the plastic if it stays on. After using laquer thinner, follow with a damp rag (water). Let me know how it goes.

I really like that warplane design on the truck body! P-40 Warhawk? Anyways very cool. I've been trying to lay one out on paper like that and couldn't get it to look right. Your work is awesome.
