HI!... This was my 1ST RC vehicle that started it all for me. So I bought one of the new ReRe's. It's got full sealed ball bearings. Everything else is bone stock.

The body is currently drying. I'll post more pics when...

I picked this vintage Hornet at a local auction for $15...It came as front and rear ends but no chassis tub. It came with a few pairs of spare rims and tires too and a cool old pit box. I ordered a re-re tub and had it back in rolling shape....

got another one last night...I think it will be converted to a Blitzer Beetle using the Blitzer shell I have.

I'm currently working on a project using a gearbox/rear axle unit from an original version Hornet. I need a pinion gear. Given the motor mounting holes, it appears only one size gear will work. It also appears they are 32 pitch. Am I right? I need...

I picked this vintage Tamiya Hornet out of a classifieds ad. It came with the original box, manual, MRC catalog, spares, Parma Cyclone II, charger, and a Futaba Magnum Jr. The buggy wasn't in bad shape, but was a lil dusty and rusty sitting around...

Done. All vintage and original except for re-re body. I used the remainder of a can of Tamiya yellow and period correct decals from my collection to finish off this budget resto.

This is a spectacular restoration! My first car was a Hornet......

Rebuild and upgrading of my old Super Hornet.

AmPro front uprights in place. Dont mind the shocks they are not the ones that will be finals.

New RAS shocks and a rear stabilizer plus a few alu bits in place ;) The wheels are from Kyosho...

Hi all.
Is this a grasshopper 2 or a hornet? The rear shock has prefloat like a hornet, but it came with the larger wheels of a later model buggy.

Judging from the rear body mounts, I'd say its a Hornet with a Grasshopper body. The front wheels appear to be from a fox and have tamiya super gripper tires. The rear tires are standard Hornet tires.

Recently bought a hornet . At least that's what my untrained eye thought it was. Now, not so sure.
It has the wrong bumper, wrong rear shocks, a rear suspension third shock, chrome wheels and inside the battery compartment it says Made in Korea ....

Thanks for all the help guys
I cleaned the the Lazer up a bit, really wasn't all that bad.
Cleaned and re-oiled the rear shocks. Cleaned and re-greased the suspensions moving points.
I have ordered a resistor pack so I'll soon see if the MSC works....
