I will not be able to make it until Saturday morning, which I hope they will still have some PTs to use.

If not, I will need to look for a refund :(

So I ran my Vintage RC10 which I ran and took 2nd with, and ran it at the 2011 JConcepts race in the 17.5 Super Stock Buggy.

I qualified 13th over all, 4th in the B-main, and finished 8th place in the B-main, notable Associated guys Josh Numan and Jason Ruona were impressed with how good the car was handling.

The moral of the story, run them old RC10s, with the proper set up, they are still very competitive and can keep up with the newer stuff....So, run em!!!!!
Life is like a box of chocolate, you never know what R/C car you're gonna get next!!!

I ran mine in 2wd mod, did not finish well (driver and ballcup issues), but I was able to hang with the new buggys ok. I think if I had some real practice instead of using my qualifiers as practice, I might have had a better showing.

I agree %100. Next year I hope to get to the VONATS on Friday for some practice, then Sunday for the racing.

I was having trouble steering my SC10 during the weekend and decided to look at it last night. Some how, the adjustment on the radio to limit the steering was set to only allow half the steering. I feel a little better now, but during the race I was the only one who needed to wait for the marshal to move so I could complete my turn.
