I went to a swap meet today and found this cool Sand Scorcher based racer. The event was held at a fair grounds complex and was mainly focued on 1:1 scale cars. I walked around all day and the only vintage stuff I saw was a half together frog. I saw...

This is something I've wanted to make for a long time now. As the pictures show it's early days yet and I've got a long way to go.

I haven't decided on a front gearbox but I have a couple of options available. Unfortunately no MIP front gearbox....

Thanks. It really was a one-off as I only had basic tools. It's currently in pieces awaiting a few tweaks after I finish three other projects. :D

I still haven't got a decent camera for filming. Buying a house seems to get in the way of playing...

Started with the basic idea of SRB, pretty much keep a tiny bit of SRB and some after market structural geometry. Plenty of custom made, CNC & hand made parts too.

Together also show my out of whack Mugen Bulldog lol ;)

Hi:

The old SRB shocks with single o-ring leak like anything.

The new re-re srb has new shocks with double o-rings, do they still leak? Does the new design really work well?? :D

mines been built for 4 or 5 months now..and i haven't had any leaks at all...and they are filled up 8)

Someone asked to see a car I had on my workbench a bit closer, so here it is. This is the original Super Champ I had when I was 12, which was a box of parts up until about five or six years ago. I had to get ebay to help me get it running again, and...

I finally got round to picking up an old rough rider to start a project , although its got a lot of very early parts its in a used condition and never going to be a shelf queen , this is ideal as what I'm planning is kind of a scale look runner ....

My understanding is SRB modified. Why is it called Taipan?
