What turnbuckles are you using? And what might the size of them be?

Nice build by the way. I like it.

I am looking for lengths. I have a 10T runner that I am wanting to beef up the turnbuckle situation.

Hey Steve, is that a T4.1 or T4.2 Finnisher body?

And

Have you tested it yet?

Steve, nice truck. I couldn't bring myself to run that chassis! I'll swap you for a beat chassis if you have any more hanging around!

Awesome Truck. Something very period correct about the pink, er red imo.

For the bb springs, are those Traxxas or Losi retainers? I have some Traxxas 3768 employed in a similar fashion. Real slick at like $1.99 a pair as opposed to those Avid aluminum deals that are pushing $15.00.

It's a T4.1 - You will need to move the front mounts to the rear and get TC4 mounts for the front.

The mod stadium class died around here just about the time I finished the truck (go figure), so I haven’t raced it yet but I have run a few packs. As I mentioned before the truck has a ton of steering so I’ve been playing with battery placement and shock oil – shorty pack in the middle, 32.5/30 with Ghea #2 tapered pistons and xGear White/Gold 12mm springs. I think the truck is almost there for my track (med grip/dusty). Based on my practice times I’m pretty confident I could easily put it on the podium at a local club race. I want to lengthen the rear camber link and try some different hubs but I haven’t had the time.

No fear, I put a chassis protector on the bottom. No scratches so far.

I used AE 12mm +9mm spring cups with RPM collars. Eventually I’m going to switch to the new AE BB shocks.

One thing I forgot to mention is how much I like the new VTS slipper setup. I can run it looser than the old 2-pad B4/T4 setup and has been very consistent. It’s easy to keep the front tires on the ground… when needed.

They make a cool noise too when set looser!

Love it,

any better pics, or what exactly did you use to mount the servo the way you did? Part numbers and such?

Thanks,

Nothing fancy. Just two shortened B44 battery posts mounted to the chassis using existing holes, and the servo is fastened using two washers per post (one on top of the servo tab and one on the bottom).
