Mmm - looks like the parts on the right are slipper clutch plates from a later Schumacher e.g Bosscat/Cougar2/Cougar 2000 etc - the Spur gear however looks like it was used with the first slipper clutch assembly that Schumacher offered as an option part for the ProCat & Cougar1 - the big advantage of the newer design is that you could change the spur without dissmantling the slipper... which of course is still necessary with modern twin plate slippers e.g B4 or TLR slipper assemblies.

I finally finished this one. The project was on hold becasue I misplaced some parts  I did modify the car slightly because I wanted to give that that retro CAT look and still have some of the modern upgrades. It has:

Trinity wheels (dyed black)
Boss Cat slipper
Lite Sink motor plate & heatsink
Ball diffs with one way drive shafts
CAT bumper
Upgraded shocks (same as the team shocks bu it a silver color)
Custom rear shock towers

pro cat 12.jpg

Roger

that looks great Roger. I'm liking these Pro Cats more and more...now to get off my butt and work on mine  . I like those trinity wheels on yours. I had gotten a set with one of my parts cars but came with 3 rears and one front. Really sucks when you pick up a parts car for the wheels and not notice that til after you get it :? .

Are you goint to body this one with something special and updated or keep the retro with it?

Really like your Procat. Nice that you kept the GRP and plain aluminium look - the good old Schumacher feel :D

It does look very box fresh, was the cut out in the chassis when you got it ? Just wondering what it was for.
