I have his autograph from his rookie year in NASCAR. He was my hero on dirt before NASCAR so when we were in Cali for a race at sears point I had him sign my NASCAR pass. Hoping it will be worth something some dayREMJ666 wrote:Nice car...To bad it has a Jeff Gordon body on it Still a very cool car...

Re: Rampage on road conversion, Rainbow Warrior Edition
The person that I got the roller from had another nip chassis...it went onto the Gordon car as well as some Kyosho Thunderbird wheels. I will snap some pics soon. With a chassis that had a couple extra holes drilled and a load of black anno going out, I figured "why not". When the chassis came back I started making a list- turned out I didn't need much to make another roller- so here is the duratrax conversion #2.....
One thing I was looking for was a pair of equalizer shocks to match a set I already own. When I won them I realized they were ultimates not equalizers....so they were donated to this chassis

It's just the stock muffler. The engine is a Prafa with aftermarket head. Came with the car when I bought it

Duh. Looked at the most recent pictures on this page and saw it without the engine. Went back to page one and I see it now

Re: Rampage on road conversion, Rainbow Warrior Edition
I've been wanting to do a narrow arm version for a while and finally got motivated. I've had a spare chassis for a while now, the Gordon car was not sacrificed for this build. It has Spider rear arms and bones with short gold shocks. Front width and rear are now identical. Bolink Porsche 962 short with a custom wing mount
I'll find the rest of the clutch parts and engine mounts some other time
