Hi again, sorry the reply totally fell out of my head...DennisM wrote:Yes, hopefully I´ll be able to attend.LurkingCAT wrote:Oh well, then maybe we will meet up! Ultima and Scorpion sounds nice as well. My Fox is in the museum display I made here in Norway - there is a picture of it in the thread (http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=27601). Since it is still stuck in the display I will have to make a new one for the meeting. Even though I have the parts I know it will be big enough an effort to get it ready to roll.. So no pictures of the car I'm going to drive yet.
How can You have parts enough to build another Hot Trick Fox I thought they were rare?
Was it You, I bought the belt converted Optima with the JG truck conversion from? - The one in the exhibit.
I really enjoy some of the Hot Trick stuff, so part by part I've collected some stuff over the years. And I been fortunate not to sell my own Red Fox from the eighties.
No it wasn't me you bought the Optima from. SHY, a friend of mine, contributed with 17 of his cars for the exhibit, and the Optima was amongst them. The display was renewed and I took some cars out and put some new stuff in. So when SHY got back his Optima it found it's way to you - nice! Both SHY and I will come to Sweden in February. If you take a look at the thread here on the Nordic Vintage Challenge you will see he is going to drive all three classes.

Blue greenish paint - golden tape stripe is to cover a brilliant that lasted about 20 seconds - A fluorescent green stripe. This must be what they call a brainfart. Well, well the green gave a touch to the blue, so now it´s blue / greenish depending on the angle.

Actually, I think that would be a great color combination...just not with red wheels.DennisM wrote:Thanks LurkingCAT
It turned out okay, but I´ll never combine fluoro green and metallic blue again - EVER

Re: PB Mini mustang with tricks
Original spare wheels for these cars shouldn´t be too hard to find - It didn´t take me more than 2-3 years to find mine
Kidding aside, Hot/Super Shot wheels can be used - if You can´t find anything else.

Thanks for the advice on the wheels. Anywhere where I can get hold of some decals just to finish off this project?

Re: PB Mini mustang with tricks
My own Mini Mustang project (soon to be in the BST..... ) will be decorated using some offcut repro decals I got from the Mini Mustang / Eco / Maxima sheet printed by Willy at http://pandagfx.com/... last time I talked to him, I think he was weighing up whether to make any more, due to costs and time limitations.... maybe give him a nudge through the website.Skiddy wrote:Thanks for the advice on the wheels. I may have some left after I'm finished..... will have to see!
