Chiming in,

I found that Purple Power, formerly known as Castrol Super Purple, dilluted to at least 50/50 and a good stiff bristled nylon brush does the job. For the hard to reach suspension pin holes and even blind screw holes, I used pipe cleaners, doubled or tripled on themselves depending on hole diameter. Cleans but doesn't whiten. Wear gloves, rinse parts really well.

Mark
Hope you're doin' something fun.

anodizing is done in batches and like dyeing easter eggs, the length of time and strength of dye bath will lead to color variation. The factory did a decent job with matching batches, but you see this pretty commonly.

for white parts, and anything NOT aluminum, Simple Green soaked overnight works awesome. Then a small toothbrush and pipe cleaners to get to all the nooks and crannies, soak, scrub, dip and soak, repeat until nice and clean, then flush with clean water.

Heck, that chassis is in better shape than my weekly racer! Amazing how awesome things get with a little cleaner and elbow grease.
