Talk about a change in plans, lol. You have some really cool pieces going into this build. Are those A&L transmission spacers?
Those spacers were made by NomadRacer, a member here on the forum. And change of plans is an understatement. I realized the only part from the original truck is the nose plate! Not sure how it evolved so much, lol.

It is a change for the better, any way you look at it. I know it will whip up on whatever is on the track. That's cool that we have other members on here making their own parts. I have a cnc machine that I haven't messed around with in over a year. I had just learned how to use it, and unfortunately had a few problems at home to take care of first. I'll be making an order this week for some aluminum stock and endmills, and I will try to be back on track for 2019. I've got a few things in mind I'd like to try. If you know of any parts that people would like to see, let me know, and I will keep it in mind.
been buzzing around a few different forum's and saw a article about a kit that will make it to where your RC10 buggy into a truck.......and thoughts , or info about this and is it worth it?

The conversion arrived today;
If I ever let it go, I'll list it on here first! :wink:
I have never had a Associated truck before, but have been aimlessly going through the truck forum for some research. This might be a simple question that probably has been answered already, but has anyone converted a vintage...

I ended up using the Rc10T CVD bones and the new quick connects for the T4. Works absolutely awesome!!!
I've thought about doing a fun basher monster truck in the style of the old kyosho nitro USA-1, where I use a 1/8 buggy platform as a base for a monster truck.
I didn't want it to look like some of the more modern monster truck bashers which use...

Hey BC good to see you are here on this site as well. Tires have a good look on there. With those big bore shocks I'll bet that is gonna handle pretty well.
Hi I was looking for any information on this conversion (when it was produced, desirable, rare) I recently came across one and don't know anything about it. I tried to search for it on here but did not have much luck. Any help would be great...

Which version do you have? There was the Monster Truck conversion and then there was the SRT (Stadium Race Truck) with long arms and extended wheelbase chassis (two types).
The Monster Truck conversion was mid to late 80's and consisted of kydex...
Like I mentioned before , if you've been collecting long enough that once and a while a gem pops up . This one fell into my lap thanks to Slapshot79 . A good friend and collector for many years . I have a thing for truly vintage buggies . Like we...

RC10 Model A .......looking for the Stealth mounting template (p/n 6590) or the pattern) to upgrade the transmission...also a recommendation for brushless conversion..motor and esc . Will be running 2s 4000mah li-po. Also the pinion size for a 48 T...

if you have another stealth buggy chassis you can use that chassis as a template if you bolt them together also but yeah, if you don't this was kinda useless :P
Just curious, but has anyone attempted to make a 4x4 truck out of a B44 yet. I was thinking that it would be nice if Associated had an electric monster truck type thing that ran on lipo and brushless. Maybe something that would be similar to some of...

A rally car would be cool. I was also thinking about a 4wd dune buggy with a roll cage. Then again I was thinking it would be cool to have a roll cage for my RC10 sand buggy.
