I may, just may, end up with another truck after all  If this happens I will again put all the "better" bits on this truck.

In the meantime I installed all the electronics except the motor since I don't have it yet. I will however run LiPo's in the truck, hopefully I'll be able to make a vintage looking label for it. The Tamiya battery was just to set up the radio.

I thought about that, it would be awesome as mid mount with a square GT body. I know the wheel base is really close but I haven't mocked a truck up yet.

The truck I'm buying appears to have a trimmed down chassis and motor plate, so I will build a more era correct race truck runner. I wish I had some more reference photos of early 10T race trucks but they are hard to come by. I was thinking a Pavidis-ish 10T but all white, although his 10T winner is fairly standard compared to his later cars.

While I'm waiting on the post man to bring me another truck I'll keep going with this for the meantime.

Here's a body that I'm looking at using, while the current "square" 10T offerings are only wide this one is quite narrow and looks more like a "race" body. I'm not sure if I really like it yet or not as it looks a lot like a Traxxas body. They were cheap enough so I bought a couple anyways as it fits the 10T quite well, good for a runner.

Nice build, and I really like your 'runner' body, especially the aero rear section. I'd like to find a cheap runner 'T body, they seem to get shredded easily, but stadium trucks are so fun to drive! What body is that?

Thanks guys, I thought it was a copy of something else but the more I look it appears to be original. It is a Frewer Stadium Slammer.

Well, I was bored waiting for parts to arrive to finish other projects, so, I thought I'd see if this would work......

A little more testing is needed.

That's extremely cool. That could sure throw some people in the vintage community off. Love what you've done there.

Thanks Todd,
I wanted to install the white battery cups instead of the cradle but I was running out of daylight. Something is a little bit off in the rear, whether the chassis is a touch long or the wheelbase or optical illusion with the shock angle.

More playing is needed and a hybrid rear tower made. I like the early square GT body which requires a narrow tower.

This was really just a test to see if the chassis would work for a truck.
