Cheers good thought, maybe leave the balance lead in, weight is no object when bashing.

are they any good? i donno..
are they worth the money? i donno..
will they be better than my 1800 nicd packs i run now? gawd i hope so.
will my local track allow me to run them? shhhh

I have a TON of the hc lipos, Have several of the hardcase 4000's you listed. They are great packs, have had no problems whatsoever. They will probably have close to 3 times the run time, and a ton more punch than your 1800's. Most local track don't seem to mind as long as they are hardcase, from my experience. I don't know what car you are going to be running them in, but they are just a little more blocky than a standard stick pack. One downfall to hc pack are their dimensions are not always right, and a lot of their packs are to wide to fit in standard trays. I run them in 1/8 scale conversions and have been more than happy.

Balance charged 2 packs of 4100 on my B6 in about an hour today, stuck them in the Twin Force, it was on 4300 Tornado Nimhs anyway, but the difference in Punch is very noticable, just sits and spins in 2WD reverse, which is quite a sight on a 1/8 Monster

I did a quick test the other day, then recharged today to get an idea of how long they would last, 2 minutes runtime took 15oma to top up, not long at all.
Then of course charged camera and lipos, and the sunshine turned to rain so I can't play out, but no-one else in so test in Kitchen proves lot of punch, need bigger kitchen, and get mop out quick to remove treadmarks lol
