I think it depends on the hacksaw you have. I had one but I had to get a new one for this blades to clamp on. Go for it and post some pics of you creation.
m_vice, if you need any parts machining in carbon fibre let me know, you have done the hardest part which is drawing them up on autocad, and i am getting parts made all the time so not a problem if you wanted some parts made. The CNC machine use's a dxf file to work from.
Ok guys these are some more parts I worked on the past weekend. Some parts are G-10 and some Carbon fiber.
I am planning 2 projects a truck with a G-10 chassis and a buggy runner. I will start a new thread with the buggy ones I get it going.
Let me know what you think.
After seeing all the old is new buggies on here I was inspired (compelled) to build one of my own. Almost the entire car is made from NIP parts. I used Stainless hardware just about everywhere. I wanted my car to be a little different from everyone...

Depends a lot on the printer. I have 5, and they are set up for different materials.
Hands down the strongest material I use is NylonX (carbon infused) and NylonG (fiberglass infused). To print that, you need an enclosure and hardened nozzle. I...
Have started to work on a new project - hope you like it.
Any thoughts on where to take this build are appreciated.
There were quite a few surprises when I received the original car and took it apart: Ball bearings throughout, Tomahawk...

It looks like you may have the rear suspension pin's mounted wrong , yours seems to be parallel to the grp plate , one of the pin mounts is taller than the other and this one goes on the outside so the pin is higher on the outside and lower toward...
