After letting the weeds take over since last year, I finally decided to clean up my backyard track and prep it for some bashing.

I spent about two hours yesterday with a weed eater and about two more hours today with a rake and wheelbarrow in 90+...

If you are going get some dirt check out landscape centers. cubic yard s around $40 here at the landscape suppliers or $20 from the city reuse facility... Bring a truck :)

I just built small track near my house, is it ok for 1:10 buggy?

First we tried to use it with Team Asso RC18T models, but deep sand and a lot of bumps made controls were extremly clumsy

I have been thinking lately about building a backyard track since I just purchased enough land to do so. I have not seen a thread showing pictures of your backyard test grounds. So if you have one Lets see them!!

Now that's friggin cool! I haven't built a backyard track yet but built three tracks in Iraq. They ended up looking like something from a backyard. Two off-road tracks and one 90% complete high bank dirt oval. I'm sure units that came in behind us...

Nothing like having your own piece of terrain to play on! I started working on my own on a deserted dumping area at the local airport. The soil is perfect, just like the club track, completly private, tons of room and huge potential. Its mostly flat...
