Thanks Halgar! It's a Tamiya Touareg CC01 with a Nikko G-Wagon body. It has full rubber sealed bearings that I have repacked with Bell Ray water proof grease, same with the tranny and both locked diffs. The esc is a water proof M-Tronics with reverse, the motor is a 27 turn arm in a mod can at zero timing. It has a sealed Futaba S9351 servo, a bit $$$ in case my seal is bad and it gets wet. So I'm putting in a Traxxas digital servo. The RX is in a Slash RX box with the two lower mounting holes sealed. The original plastic 4 link has been modded to 4 aluminium rods with Traxxas ball ends. The front has been cut for more clearance and the castor blocks shaved for better droop on the front suspension. I use 1.9 Losi Blue Rock Claws on Integy aluminium wheels

My G-Wagon has even out crawled some crawlers! I have beat on and abused this truck for over three years and it just keeps ticking. When I mud bog with it, I have to rebuild the motor and replace the brushes every time, but thats it! I did have a small grinding noise during this outing, so I'm going to rebuild the tranny and diffs with new gears.

Funny you say that. Jester, the guy with the sik Jeep, has a scale cooler in the back full of scale beer and scale ice cubes. Well he rolled the Jeep in a tricky section. It was a bad fall and made a loud crash, the cooler busted open. In true 4X4 dude form, all Jester said was "MY BEER! "

Oh wait those are mine. Oops.

If you never have, you guys have to try Trail Rigging. It is very relaxing! If you have ever had a bad day or week, there is nothing better to get a smile on your face.

The Axial Honcho is a great starter rig and is not a bad price. In box stock form is very capable and the chassis will fit many truck type bodies if you don't like the stock one!

I recommend waterproofing, as it brings even more fun to trail rigging. You can do this with a new type (blue) Traxxas servo and ESC or a LRP waterproof ESC. I use Traxxas Slash receiver boxes in all my trail rigs and have never lost an RX. As you can see in the Sub video I am not afraid of water!

Along with waterproofing, I'd also stick with bushings rather than changing them out to bearings. Bushings are low maintenance and don't require much attention, whereas bearings must be removed and cleaned EVERY time you get them wet if you want them to still be bearings when you come back to the truck the next time.
