First of all, your CAD skills rock.

Second of all, I have no idea. There are others on the board that can identify it quick enough for you though. My Yoke experience is limited to the 870c....

Thanks, it's what i do for a living. I know this post with be hard to seperate out the out hub and old rim compared to the new stuff. But I wanted to make sure the newer rim and new hub I designed would yield the same offset as the old ones. Here's a cross section thru the hub/axle/rim. You can see the old rim is smaller but slighlty wider then new 2.2 rim.

Safe to assume this is the M.V. of the Ozite variety?

Charlie, Yes
Erich who runs the Vintage Offroad Nats is a good friend of mine, and I have always loved offroad.
Just not enough time in the summer to race, so indoor carpet was the only choice left for me.
But I do plan to race the VONATS again this year.

I think we raced under the same sponsor flag at a race in Feb of 09' or I may be off on the date- this would have been brown carpet, that turns to black asphalt by the mains

Finally got to take some pictures. Please let me know if this really is a 91 works or some hybrid.

These are the rims that came with the car, but they are 2.1 inch so I won't be using them.

Bad picture, but can you tell me which hubs should be on the car. I think the one with the lip so the bearing doesn't rub. I got three of those and two of the others.

I'm glad to get the spur gear adpater. What do I start with for spur and pinion for 17.5 turn brushless small indoor track.

Chassis is is really bad shape, I couldn't see that from the assembled pictures. I'm going to make another one. Top deck is ok, so are the rear A-arms

Chassis is carbon top and bottom layer with a white (assume fiberglass) middle.

Why do you say front Shock tower is modified?

Ok thanks, Wish I took pictures prior to taking the car apart.

Mike,
Do you have all the parts to build the car? have you looked at Podium RC. They list quite a few parts but I have not ordered anything from them yet. I got my TCS shaft from End of the line but they dont have many parts left for the YZ10's.

No I haven't looked at Podium Rc, it never came up in any of my queries. I'm close to having everything I need to built the car to race. It's won't be shelf queen but should race well. I still need a body, wing, and tires, but those are easy to find.

I plan on running my car again when it is finally back together. I also have been accumulating some extra parts for replacements. I know when I was racing this thing back in the early 90's I went through hubs bulkheads and arms like they were going out of style. I am going to change out front bulkhead to the nylon YR4 type since they seem to hold up better. I also have been trying to use Lipo batteries and burnt up both of my old ESC's This has been a learning experience.
