It looks basically the same, except for the orangeish Vanquish style wheels. Maybe they wont charge a million bucks for it this time.

Middle Class Shaft Buggy DB02(Tom's Body)
I wonder what this is about?
Looks like a new competition ready mid motor 4wd buggy. Not sure what the Tom's body is all about but it does look futuristic so maybe Tom's is a bad translation for tomorrows body?

Or maybe not, the pics on Tamiyablog don't look like a DB02...

I love this, $800+ rc cars. now traxxas has a $1100 rc car .. the more rcs that come out priced too high for me to want to buy the better it is for my bank account..

i like that car too..looks cool and i like the 4 shock set up on that chassis..it maybe dumb to some people but i really like that the car has a full skid plate.. i just dont see myself spending the high $$$ on tamiya kits like this ... that kit will cost as much as a real nice rtr (with 2.4 radio maybe brushless too)... im not a fan of kits anymore.. i have so many build projects anything i buy now i want rtr ..

I'm all for the rereleases. I'm sure many collectors have spent up big earlier on thinking their investment will earn them an early retirement and be now kicking themselves with many of the old favorites coming back. Personaly I've learned that making a dollar usualy means you'll have to work for it. While we'll no doubt hear a lot of people groaning about how their investment is being devalued with the rere kits, you'll find many others glad they can now afford to relive their youth or share their love for an old car with their kids without breaking the bank. Add to this the availability of parts that were almost non existent and it's a win win for most of us.

I'm just the opposite; not a fan of RTRs at all. Building them is the best part for me.
