With UK RC10 rebuilds, sourcing and waiting for the parts is the worse thing and then the frustration of then finding you forgot something when it arrives (and getting caught with customs charges)!!

I've got a couple of RC10 projects on the go a graphite one that just needs cvds sorting and the paint (always seem to stop at this point) and the other a blue gold tub that I'm still collecting parts for - although with the re-release this should be alot easier.

Did you paint the body yourself?

Hi Rich,

The orange/white/ blue is my handiwork, the team colours shelfer body was farmed out to a pro. To be honest for the additional £25/$35 I'm no sure it's worth the effort of DIY , especially when you factor in cost of materials .

This is the conclusion I'm coming too, who did you use to paint the team colours body and how long did it take?

I've got some simple designs I want done, but when I've used more than one colour masking/bleeding always become a problem so getting someone else to it seems the way to go.

I used Jon Millar at RCS Graphic Worx. Rough pricing and enquiry details are at

http://Www.rcsgraphicworx.co.uk/services

It took around ten days from me sending the body off to getting it back, perhaps factor 2-3 weeks dependent upon workload

Parts have taken a while to come through , possibly due to the US shutdown period, but I do have the shelfer sat as a complete chassis now. Just electrics, wheels, body and decals to go !

Apologies for the lack of recent updates - been very much a bit of progress here n there as final parts arrived and I found the time amongst other projects and family life

I changed a few of the decals around on the runner - it was a little sparse before and I'm much happier with it now..

And, onto the shelfer..

They've taken a while, and in future I may swap the chassis around (as someone suggested earlier in the thread !) but for now I'm happy, and can move on to the something more modern.

Great work on both but I really like the runner.
