I've been working on it for about ten weeks, an hour or two now and then. The most time consuming is searching the web for photos of real cars and of course getting the pieces to fit before soldering.
I can promise you my finger tips are quite sore

I can easily believe all of that , even the sore fingers but its going to worth it.
If a jobs not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well.
A problem shared is a problem halved but an advantage shared is no advantage at all.

:lol: Orthodontist!?.. That's a long way from aircraft engines, but yes I do like to build models and have done so from an early age. It has just escalated i bit..

My father's an orthodontist (retired)...carefully twisting and bending wires is a big part of the job, practically an art form. :)

It seems almost wrong to ask but are you going to paint it ? I'm loving the Steam Punk flavour it has in bare metal .

The plan is to paint it, but I had thoughts earlier of leaving it bare.
