i finally got em today. very happy with the losi jrT body, but not with the andys rc10t body. he was suppose to paint a vintage andys style paint job, but he did his more up to date style paint job which i already have and not too fond of plus dont like the colors he went with .

I like 'em. They actually look quite Andy's-esque to me. I'm not sure how your correspondence went, but maybe you weren't specific enough on color choices. Like any artist his work has evolved over his lifetime so while he still has a pretty distinct style, his flare is going to change over the years. I'm not saying you're wrong for being displeased, I'm just saying they look quite nice to me.

Looks correct to me!

I can definitely see where you're coming from on that, but it may be hard for him to realize it since he's painted so many and adapted to the masses. You may be better off paying a skilled painter from this forum that understands the look you're going for. They still recognize "retro".hugger19 wrote:well emailed him and taped a note to the bodies. i wanted a vintage style andys paint job. the rc10t is more his modern style u find on ebay today.

I dont get it. Looks old school to me. When I think of new paint thats not what I think of. That's 90's IMO

It takes me forever to paint a body so I can only imagine how long it takes someone who's good! So that, on top of supplies still seems pretty cheap. If nothing else at least you have the cool Andy's signature.hugger19 wrote:i tired but the guys i contacted on here want more than $40 to paint a body.

Both look nice and $40 to paint a body is CHEAP! I'm sure I'm not the only one around here that has paid much more than that for a quality paint job, none the less Andy himself. You get what you pay for.
