Hi Doug

I have used poster tack or it's called sticky tack.
For the black wheels I think I might try black butyl putty.
The non-hardening black putty is used in automobiles for all sorts of things.

The shorter 150mm sensor wire came in today.
So I got my wiring completed, quite a tight area to work in but just barely enough space.
Got some Avid seperators, never really liked heat shrink or zip ties but I like these better.
I don't know if I will have enough space for the ESC heatsinks I have, depends on the body clearance once I can finally decide on a body.
The black tape on the verticle sides of the chassis is so I don't scrape one of my already painted bodies while checking for a body that fits.
The thin white tape is F/R cg. So far with no more additional ballast it's about 62/38.

Also I had read a post a few weeks ago about play or slop in the front suspension on an RC10.
I remembered seeing a set screw in the front suspension mount on one of scr8p's builds, viewtopic.php?f=88&t=41196.
I had an old cracked mount and drilled and tapped for a short set screw. It did not have quite enough material to grab the screw.
Then I ground a small flat on the hinge pin and it just barely had enough.
That little set screw took a lot of play out of the front end.
Some of my 6207-6208 mounts are a little better than others but my best pin to mount fits have been with Lunsford titanium pins. They seem slightly larger in diameter.
This car has steel pins and this little mod works for me.

Didn't realize how long this has been without a body.
While waiting on parts for the version 2 of mid motor RC10 I trimmed a body for version 1.
I still haven't really decided on the paint scheme yet but it's a start in the right direction.

I added a new Spektrum SR215 receiver. This replaced the Spektrum SRS4201 AVC receiver.
This tiny new receiver allowed me to rotate the antenna mount to better clear the body.
It also has a much shorter antenna wire. The antenna now tucks neatly inside the windshield pillar.

I did finally decide on a body.

Yellow and black, same colors as a Radioactivity symbol!

Paint is Proline Flourescent yellow and Proline Pearl black. Used Diveley mask for the first time on this paint as well.
I chose the yellow for it's perfect match with JCracing yellow wheels, which are also new to the build.
All pics were take outside in bright sunlight on my driveway.

If you made it through this thread here it is...

The car looks spectacular Chuck.
One of the best mid-motor conversions I've seen so far.
Just a really neat and tidy design - everything in its place. Well done sir!!
