OK, so hopefully you guys can see the style that I've tried to follow here; it's my version of a modern day Jay Halsey. Was my first attempt at painting a shell with liquid mask. I'm not great with a scalpel but it seemed to come out OK in the end.
Didn't have exactly the right decals, so replaced some of them with modern ones.

Overall this thing is stellar...the chassis is fantastic, damn exchange rate
When I first built it I quite liked the high front end, bu I think I'll follow your point and get some different shocks for it..
Finally got around to putting some original shocks on the front end (need to order some screws the fit the rears...) and I'm shocked at the difference it makes to the look of this shell. I've never been a real fan of the Viper shell, but now that the stance is lower I absolutely love it......
Isnt that a Fusion Speed chassis? Going from memory, haven't seen one for 20 years
It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas Factory Works website
I had a few days off work so took the opportunity get on with some of my R/C projects which included making a start on my new-build JRX2.
First, I dug out all of the parts that i've collected over the years. This collection was started following a...

Sorry chaps! I've only just noticed that this thread got 'bumped up' - unfortunately JRX2 No.3 kinda stopped along with that last post about a year ago.... all the parts are residing in a box ready to be assembled into a car..... which probably...
I lucked out and got this in a trade. Plans are to make it a decent runner first. I'm not sure if I will turn it into the car I raced in the late 80's early 90's or if I will just do some upgrades if the car breaks. First thing is to get a new body...

Alright I think I am going to build it WOIN. I've cleaned up the chassis, installed the rear mounts correctly and sorted through what I think it will need. I have read a million threads and think I have a good idea of what I am doing. I changed to...
I was surfing through various build threads, copying a picture here and there for inspiration, and there was one buggy that I liked and can't find again. It was two-tone, white upper, charcoal grey lower and had black spoke wheels front. If anyone...

Yep. That's it. It just hit me with the charcoal and the black spokes. I thought they were JCs but wanted to be sure. I'm building a couple resto sprint cars and may go the charcoal, white, and black wheel route....
Well I finally collected enough parts to complete a couple of builds I’ve been planning. The first of which will be based on a brand new Parma D&D graphite chassis. I’d say about 75% of the car will be built with nip parts with the rest I just...
