Wow! What an endeavor! Best of luck resurrecting the company. I would love to see more of your vintage ads because I am into graphic design. Also, I would absolutely love to see some new Clod Buster rims. There would definitely be a demand for them. I am also part of the ClodTalk group and those guys would go gaga over 'em. A few months back I was supremely lucky to find a set of See's Clod rims on Craigslist for CHEAP! Grabbed them right away because you'd be paying a premium on greedbay. Dressed them up in vintage Twinn-K knobbys. Happy Happy, Joy Joy. :P

OK, ran across this tonight and just couldn't help myself. It's a folder full of darwings, specs, quotes and other info from Joe. I had forgotten about some of his other parts. We all are familiar with the rims, turnbuckles, and hinge pins. But how about titanium front and rear axles for the RC-10, rear axles for pan cars, the molded wings, Aero-Trac rear pod, and what I think is the slickest item ever, the quick release wing mounts.

Probably the coolest piece of paperwork in there is between Joe and Joel Johnson (with Trinity at that time) regarding bulk pricing of some parts. I feel like an archaeologist digging through pieces of history. I guess it really is history, right?

I don't think re-re'ing these wheels are going to happen. The main problem I see is that there is a lot of competition on the market for aluminum wheels. Making wheels for a discontinued vehicle is a losing proposition. This is the reason I have been buying tecnacraft sets again.

The Tecnacraft wheels are very drool-worthy. I've seen them on some of your guys' cars, especially the Optimas/Ultimas, and I'd love a set too. It's probably true that remanufacturing them might not be hugely profitable, but I don't think that was the goal, really. I would personally prefer something a little less busy with the inserts, I'm all about fast & easy cleaning & polishing...I'd totally go for something like a vintage Centerline Auto Drag or Champ 500 look. I always loved the Kyosho Turbo Scorpion's aluminum wheels which looked exactly like Champ 500's.

JPS has some good wheels for RC10. Some in a centerline style like you want.

Yea but the guy who owns JPS is a jerk, I ordered some wheels he said he had in stock and he jerked me around for over a year. all he had to do was cut the drive pin slot in the back and I never got them.

I would love a set of tech's in a modern size so tires would be easier to get. Especially for a DS since nothing will fit those rims and I don't want to do the traxxas conversion. I just think that is wrong on so many levels. :?
