Hi all ive got a sc10 comong next week, iam going to use at my local club for a bit of racing but apart from that i will use it at my local scate park.
Iam going on holiday soon and i want to take it on the beach,so what iam after is does anyone know if there is a cover to go over the chassis under the shell to knid of water proof it or at least stop the sand getting into the electricts.
Thanks Leon.
I can get pics if anybody wants to see it?.
Based on my experience of running a 2WD on a sandy beach the drive wheels will simply dig a hole in place unless you can come up with paddle tires to fit.
It's on the website
Anyone know any more yet

I'm not sure how big your company is so it may not be an issue. My brother in law was in a similar situation a few years ago. He decided to get a new job immediately rather than wait like many of his coworkers. He found a job quickly and had no down...
Today I bought my first modern buggy in over 20 years. RTR 2.4 SC10 Brushless.

Driving a SC truck is much different than my RC-10. I look forward to dialing it...

I have been running the stock 13.5 with 87/22 gearing. Last run I had 75/22 which made the thing fly, but i needed to keep an eye on the temps. Now I have a 10.5 to run. Maybe with the hotter motor I might run into more problems.
I've been checking out the site and decided to join. (blame Halgar)
I have an SC10 and I'm trying to decide how best to set it up. I don't race, this is to be a backyard basher with some time spent in empty parking lots....

Both trucks look good. I would go with the rpm set up as well. You really can't go wrong there.
Picked up an SC10.3 during the Horizon cyber week deals...already have a Yeti SCORE so I thought why not make a 1/8 buggy lite to bomb around the yard? It's mostly stock except I had to use some HPI Blitz hubs all around to get some 17mm adapters to...

Not too bad, but I've only run it on 2s in the street...too cold here and I don't own a 3s.
