i love the RB5, i stopped running my B4 all together (turned it into a javelin after i broke chassis lol)

Lots of guys locally here are running the RB5 and parts are available pretty easily from kyoshoamerica which seems to have got their act together. parts are NEVER more than like 4 days out of stock if ever. minus the rear end conversion everyone is doing.. only thing i ever bought for it were a set of front arms when i broken them and a aluminum front bulkhead from some guy on rctech.net

great car, shocks are some of the best i feel around, but thats arguable

I have one too. It's very nice. Yes, the shocks are awesome. The only thing I have replaced are the wing mounts (I ripped one off). I usually order parts from Amain and they are super quick. I usually have the parts in 2-3 days. I have the original RB5 so I don't have the rear end conversion. I probably wouldn't even notice anyways since I usually drive by hitting the boards.

Fantastic car. One of the single nicest off road kits I have ever worked on. Very high quality fit & finish, and it's a winner right out of the box. Makes the B4 and XXX kits look cheap in comparison. And yes, the shocks are some of the best on the market.

Very much worth every cent.

It should be a fantastic build. The only modification I made is a set of Lunsford turnbuckles.

The stock SP or SP2 turnbuckles are pretty dern good. May Kyosho drivers say that the stock hardened SP rods will outlast Lunsfords which have been known to break at the threads. I am still undecided where to go with t'buckles on mine, but the K drivers all recommend stocks. I prefer the Lunsfords, as the rest of my cars have them so no need for new wrenches.

As mine sits now...

LOVE the car. Working on finishing my SC-R build (a converted RT5). Should be done late this week if I'm lucky.

I found this kit at a local hobby shop when they first came out. I was just in there looking for parts and saw it a purchased it. Its the last one I have seen in the detroit area. I don't know why but you just don't see any kyosho stuff around here.
