CAT 3000

Post by Bormac »

I picked up a lightly used Cat 3000 from my good chum Alex in a trade a while back. I cant say why exactly but I have neither felt the urge to pass it on nor build it up properly.
2 odd years later the urge hit and Im stoked with this car. In my opnion a real step up from the 2000 series 4WD with better weight distribution and easier access to critical areas of the car. To top it off it doesn't look half bad either. :D

This thing is going to the race track the first dry day I get!

Veddy nice Jason, especially the paint job, simple yet very effective! I remember that most racers sticked to the 2000 when the 3000 was out as it handled better. Maybe you will confirm that soon... Have fun!

I love that paint job - very nice!

IIRC the CAT 3000 was sort of like the Off Road version of the Axis touring car with mid-mount motor etc? & Unlike the Losi XX4/Street Weapon worked well in both guises :)
