It's going up on the bay soon and wanted to try and get some details on it if I can. Any help would be appreciated.

it's either the terre haute(200mm wide) or the tucson(210mm wide) from mcallister. my guess is the terre haute.

Just wondered if anyone had any idea who manufactured this part? Its the rear-most hinge pivot bracket off a Jrx2 that was given to me by a good friend who I raced with Bitd (we still do) He can't remember & thought it might be handmade but I think...

I owned a JRX2 that I bought used (when they first came out). It had the aluminum front bulk head. I always assumed it was hand made because I never saw another one. Best hop up for the JRX2 back then. Never broke and never got wobbly. LOL.

On one of my 6 gear trannies, when I cracked it open it had red idler gears..not dyed, but molded in red. Very faintly I can read (I think) Polar Plastics, somewhere NY.

They are extremely smooth. One gear is a bit chewed and noisy, but still...

my buddy showed his RC10 with the same way to hold the body. he didn't have any special reason on it like traction or some else. just didn't have a body post. and I tried myself too. the angle was bent with a hair dryer. and was quite easy to work...

With the body of my old Bandit being cracked pretty much everywhere, it occured to me that at some point it might require replacing. However, with the old style body being almost impossible to get hold of, it occurred to me the new body could do...

But its the sort of little program that an RC car manufacturer could develop. Wouldn't it be neat if you designed your bodies online and they sent'em off to you fully painted?

I have no idea if the painting process is automatable or not......

Hi, I thought this might be the best place to ask this question. I can't figure out if the bodyshell on this old TRF Tamiya is something made for that particular car by Tamiya back in 1993, or if they simply used some kind of aftermarket body for...

I was looking at the gallery here and I saw Janus' Battle bug:

And given the lack of good looking aftermarket bodies for the Traxxas Bandit I thought it might be a good idea to copy Janus.

I bought this for nostalgia, I used to see this body in RCCA but cant remember who made it, As you can see its a Turbo Optima JG conversion, I have been replacing warn parts on it for a wile, someday i will have it like new hopefully lol.
