I'm sure someone has the parts list in one of the 'whats old is new' type threads.

I may be wrong but I want to say the b4 has more of a positive offset on the wheels, so it would end up narrowing the track on the b3.

i've never tried it, but here's my opinion.......

alot of guys are using b4 rear hub carriers and b44 cvd's on their rc10's to run b4 rims. being as though the rc10 cvd's and b3 cvd's are the same length, using those parts on a b3 should give you the same result. same thing on the front end, just use the b4 castor block, knuckle, and axle. or, you could use a wide t3 front axle on the b3 parts.

using that stuff though, don't you need the klein a-arms to push the width out and use the b44 cvds?

I believe the offset of the B4 wheels (from inner edge of wheel to face of center hub) is around 24-25mm.

alot of guys have done it, but harris's builds come to mind. they use a standard rc10 rear arm, b4 carriers, and b44 cvds. the b4 hubs push the axle out, so no need for longer arms. it works on the rc10, so it should work on the b3 as well.

but the more it think about it, doesn't the b3 have a hub carrier that the hinge pin isn't centered under the hub? so, it might not work.

but hey, it's only money. buy the parts and find out. that's how the cool stuff get built anyway. using parts that weren't designed to go together and making it work.
