rc10 restoration problems?

Post by dhonda200 »

im restoring my rc10 gold pan with rpm arms and was wondering what wheels fit the car? i want to put mip cvds on it can i use stock carriers with those? Also with the rpm arms being longer what size turn buckles do i use? finally what size shocks do i get for it? id like to add it has carbon fiber shock towers wich have more holes to choose then the stock fiberglass ones.

Thanks for any help, Derek

if you go into the Temples RC10 Tech section, there is a stick "old is new" type builds, where guys (like me) have updated their 10's to use modern wheels/tires and be competitive on a track today.

You could do what I did and use b4 carriers, b44 cva's, and b4 wheels on the rear. You'll just need new bearings to fit the carriers.

Or you could get a set of wheels that are 2.2 and not change anything else. I have bought a few of these:
