Sorry, slightly unrelated question but can someone here tell me when the club10 moved from a belt drive to gear drive? Any idea how many of each were made and if there were any other differences other than the gearbox?

It's not the answer you were looking for date-wise.... but the move from belt to gear drive came with the Club 10 Mk2

Other differences include the shocks (red alloy to black plastic) and the top links (turnbuckle to molded plastic). Gearbox changes include the motor plate too, which is now plastic, rather than metal :?

That's cool - I never knew there was a mk1/2 on the Club10! Looks like I have a mk2 then! It didn't come with shocks but my gear plate is metal and I have Cougar style turnbuckles, so the previous owner may have upgraded it. Deffo a plastic gearbox though.
