MMV Challenge: TC's WTF? mobile
Well, I have some cool things coming i, and it gives me the perfect opportunity to build something funky again.
For now, until parts start rolling in, all I will say is: it's an RC10.

Funny you should ask, I picked up the ball cups. They're purple..
I will say this, this will be a well documented build, the amount of booze consumed will be tallied....

Oooh.... that's probably about as good an idea as working out how much all your cars cost / are worth....Toasted Coastie wrote:I will say this, this will be a well documented build, the amount of booze consumed will be tallied....

Parts are starting to roll in. Tomorrow going to see Frankie at New Era for some work. I think I am the reason they stay afloat sometime (I'm sure that's not true). There will be 2 modified/fabbed pieces to this build:
1. Chassis
2. Front bulkhead
Front bulkhead?! That's right. Because I am "old school" when it comes to drafting and detailed drawings, I hope to get the drawing of the bulkhead done tonight to give to Frankie to get to cutting.
I'm in the middle of getting my workspace in the garage completely reorganized, and have found that I have a ton of screws, hinge pins, shock shafts and other misc. crap. Picking through screws is a PITA, so I purchased a large bin (or so I thought) with 33 drawers. I have 2 empty drawers left, and still a ton of crap to go through...

Chassis an bulkhead design dropped off at New Era this morning. Got washers and nuts in today. They are purple. Still waiting on the parts car to come in....

Re: MMV Challenge: TC's WTF? mobile
Car was stripped down last night and all white parts put into the "solution" for cleaning.
I found that a mixture of greased lightning, simple green (lemon) and CLR strips all the dirt and grease off the parts with minimal brushing, and sometimes the parts don't even need the peroxide treatment.
This chassis is not the chassis that will be used, I have something special for that. Going to ride by New Era tomorrow and see if my special part and chassis is completed for me to start building.
