Re: Turbo Javelin ( Runner)... Action pic added!!!!
I built this up to run in the pipe frame class at the Vintage Festival @ Castle Hill in Australia.
Pipe frame is for silver stock motors. So a full rebuild was done with new internal gears and a belt drive conversion. Hard Final pinion was thrown into the rebuilt tranny as these aren't easy to work on.
New race rubber with some nice 5 spoke 2.2 wheels with good off sets.
It was raining on Sunday so we didn't get to run at all. So it's on my shelf waiting for next yrs festival.
Im running her at our final meet of the yr @ Boondal for a few laps. My get some action shots if it's not raining again.

Re: Turbo Javelin ( Runner)
I envoi you, I wish I cud find a used cage for a runner. I have a chassis whiting just for an affordable cage; one went for $220 on eBay a few weeks ago…
It would be cheaper to buy a whole car, strip it from the cage, then sell chassis on eBay

Action shot at Boondal.
Was really nice to drive and quite quick with a stock silver can.
Mad Max the bumper is the original but cut down. Wheels are from my local Hobby shop and i bought 5 complete sets at the time. Can't seem to find them anymore...

You are Funny Dazza.
Silver can is soo slow but still was ok.
I was very tired that day from doing two extra shifts that week. My brain was very slow that's why it felt fast i guess. That's the only reason i say.
Pic is very small but was taken by buggy boy so i can't complain.
See you soon.
