If someone could get these in the US I might spring for one for my daughter. $52 shipping hurts the novelty factor though. I just need to make sure she does not see it or it will have to be on the way. I'm a softy.

Purchasing this shows Tamiya that theres a demand for them which in turn persuades them to produce others like it. :P

i for one welcome this THING...at least the local kids could destroy this one without me thinking "man i could really use the parts from that for one of my hornets" lol

I'll say it...I think the purple chassis parts could make a cool custom Hornet or Grasshopper. That being said, I would never run the pink tires or the freaky body like that!

I'm thinking the standard white Grasshopper body with some dark purple pinstripe, and some chrome wheels or some purple chrome wheels? Might be cool?

I didn't comment earlier on this one because I did not want to be responsible for bringing it to top....but since it was brought up....OMG that is awful! Simply my opinion.

I seem to be in a very small minority in thinking that this car is totally badass.
So badass that I bought one and I can't wait to build it and have it on the shelf next to my Grasshopper. I think its good to have something fun and original and I think its great that Tamiya have taken a risk in getting a designer to do something with one of their cars.
I'd like to see what demand for this is like in a few years time when its out of production.
BTW I am a bit of a weirdo.

Anyone else think it would look better in anything but white?

Neon green or so?

Pink, purple & black & white polka-dots...maybe it could've been cooler to just look like a real hornet, with yellow & black hornet stripes, yellow tires & black wheels?

Honestly, I wish Tamiya would reissue the Super Hornet...

I second this idea...it looks like it has the original black tires so he wouldn't have to buy that.
