Nice, good score. Its always a bonus with the box and all the documentation! Plus I am a Fiberglass G-10 fanatic! So what are you plans, runner or shelfer?

I have an rc10lso graphite I have had since my early teens. I just got it out and revived it. Im totally hooked now! No shelfers here! Going to run that baby! Probably going to revive a few of them and race em with my kids at a local track. When I was a kid I couldn't afford this stuff now its like a crazy addiction. I never raced before but I am going to start out just having fun and see what happens.

Took everything apart today. The white parts are soaking in a peroxide bath now. ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

The chassis / G-10 Fiberglass parts will clean up nicely, with a hand brush and either simple green or greased lightning. also you can chase the screw holes with a countersink bit, just enough to not only clean them out, but even out any wear, then seal them with some CA and you will have some screw holes that look good as new, and will not wear out as fast. Just take it easy with the Countersink! Good luck with the restoration.

Looking good sofar, and the custom bits are nice too! I like the fact that you are using G-10 and aluminum, kind of keeps in spirit of the Original Car.

Thanks. I decided I really wanted to replace the black carbon items with something closer too white too keep the white look going with the car. The aluminum nerf wings I made because I thought they would set the cars look off a little. Not to mention the strength they have. I love the chance to add a custom spin in things too. I am having trouble getting the white plastic parts to turn really white again. Tried a few things so far. I ordered a blue aluminum screw and nut set for it. As a last resort I might die the plastic royal blue to go in spirit with the blue hardware. Possibly even black. The more white the better though. I have other cars that are all black so I would really like to make this one with as much white as possible without dropping any more cash. After all I am going to run this when I am done. What's the fun in building it if you can't play ha ha!

Well, just to throw it out there if you have not tried it, there is a thread in here to turn White Nylon parts white again with Hydrogen Peroxide, again, that is if you have not seen it, or tired it.

Yeah I tried 3% for a day. Then 50-50 bleach and water. Then oxyclean with 3% peroxide under a UV light for a few hours. That helped enough. I got excited and put it together. Going to run it a bit this weekend. I can work on details as I go. Here is the progress
