Re: masami '93 replica runner
Its looking great Hyeong! So you are going to be running M2 pulleys & belts?
Can't wait to hear how this performs on a track - also to see the finished body

Re: masami '93 replica runner
did some hand tool jobs here along with some titanium screws and lightened parts. all the hardware installed are used and mostly came from my old runners. and my old yz10 runner got lots of stainless steel screws and king pins now
i had to cut and trim the epoxy parts more than once. too small or wrong hole positions you know.
i didn't thought Mamami put this stock turnbuckle but he did. and dug and found it. and i noticed i need a plain silver 2mm fine pitch pulley. maybe i can ask pargu to remove the black anodizing.
http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=17274&start=190 decided to save the original wing till i get all the correct parts. put mike's big wing for a race then

Re: masami '93 replica runner
yes i will. the surface was too bad at 90's and i couldn't try it at the time. and found a belt shop has 95T belt. but it's hard to find 262T i'll keep looking forward the spare belts thoughDerbyDan wrote:Its looking great Hyeong! So you are going to be running M2 pulleys & belts?

Re: masami '93 replica runner
it's not easy to find the round head king pins in the picture. only found 2 but need 2 more and longer one for the front shock tower. any source for them?

Re: masami '93 replica runner
some of my korean rc forum members helped me for some parts and more. and one of them painted this body for me. it is a great help to this terrible painter. i think the 3rd or 4th one would be a replica body with the decals i have and don't have.
i didn't get the the body in my hands yet. the pics came from him
the red one is mine. green one belongs to a friend

Re: masami '93 replica runner
This project is looking great, Hyeong! By the way, if Pargu is busy or you just want to take care of that immediately, you can remove the anodizing yourself. Just spray on some Easy-Off oven cleaner, let it sit for a few minutes, and brush away the anodizing with a toothbrush, then rinse it with water. It's a 5-minute job.59burst wrote:i didn't thought Mamami put this stock turnbuckle but he did. and dug and found it. and i noticed i need a plain silver 2mm fine pitch pulley. maybe i can ask pargu to remove the black anodizing.

Nice finishing on your fg parts Hyeong, and i love your red shell, really looks cool, and that wing will do fine for running, really chomping at the bit to see this run now
