Mini mag restoration

Post by RedScampi »

I got these Mini-mags from Coeleacanth in a trade recently. (Thanks Marc!) I've worked on one wheel off and on just to see how nice I could make them. I deliberately chose the worst one. I told Marc I'd post a pic when I got one done. Also finally got a replacement SD card reader. So...what do you think? Not perfect by far but I like it!

Wow--I knew those would buff up nicely! Can't wait to see what car you mount them on when they're all done. Too bad (for me) I didn't really have a project car for those... 8)

Haha! Yes, I remember. Actually, the old Dremel got a better workout that I did, but there's still quite a bit of hand work involved.

Thanks Marc! I do have an Optima waiting for these. Unfortunately it may be years (literaly) before I get to it. Or...I could mount them up on one of my completed cars.

That one wheel turned out great! That polish is the best for sure. I have used it before in the past one my old Caddy I had and nothing is better. Nice job, but you still have three more to go.
