Mini mag restoration
Mini mag restoration
I got these Mini-mags from Coeleacanth in a trade recently. (Thanks Marc!) I've worked on one wheel off and on just to see how nice I could make them. I deliberately chose the worst one. I told Marc I'd post a pic when I got one done. Also finally got a replacement SD card reader. So...what do you think? Not perfect by far but I like it!

Wow--I knew those would buff up nicely! Can't wait to see what car you mount them on when they're all done. Too bad (for me) I didn't really have a project car for those...

Haha! Yes, I remember. Actually, the old Dremel got a better workout that I did, but there's still quite a bit of hand work involved.marlo wrote:That looks like mother polish your using there, If you remember did you bub hard and fast Rim look's great. That stuff is like magic.

Thanks Marc! I do have an Optima waiting for these. Unfortunately it may be years (literaly) before I get to it. Or...I could mount them up on one of my completed cars.Coelacanth wrote:Wow--I knew those would buff up nicely! Can't wait to see what car you mount them on when they're all done. That one wheel turned out great! That polish is the best for sure. I have used it before in the past one my old Caddy I had and nothing is better. Nice job, but you still have three more to go.
