Always wanted an RC-10, but could not find one at a reasonable price. Can't wait to see what it's like.

Looks to be no unnecessary holes in tub. Should be a good car to rebuild.

Looks pretty rough, but that just makes the rebuild that much more fun. :D

Good start! I especially like that Ford SIerra body in the background. I wish those old buggy-size rally car bodies were still easy to find.

Or reintroduced some modern rally bodies to fit the buggies. IDE much rather run an RC10 rally car than one of the modern touring car rally tire cars.

Now I see the holes. Teach me to look at threads on my phone! You have officially been bit by the RC10 bug.

It's arrived!! In the box is:

4 pairs of RC10 "Kidney Bean" rear wheels with tyres in various condition (nearly all the tyres in the picture contain wheels).
One pair narrow kindey bean front wheels + tyres (another pair on the car)
Pair of Mardave Meteor front wheels + tyres
Pair of Hot Laps rear tyres which will fit my Meteor
Pair of Tamiya Fox(?) wheels with Schumacher tyres
Single Meteor "pepper pot" wheel
Vintage Proline front bumper
Toolbox with several random tools inside
Used "Trinity Monster Horsepower" motor in box
Parma Cyclone II motor box with silver can inside (Parma motor fitted to car)
Sierra Cosworth RS500 shell in very good condition
RC10 shell (I think) and wing in good nick (but I don't like the black and gold colour scheme)
Two 7.2V stick packs
Complete set of Futaba radio gear (Tx complete with battery cover)- plus an Acoms ARC-227 rx in the car.
Vintage Futaba FET ESC
Various spares including pinions, suspension arms, uprights, springs etc etc
ModelFlight wind down charger and 12V car battery charger

The car itself is grubby, but complete. Chassis has a few extra holes and some scatching on the base. It has home-made (but well made) ally shock towers (the original GRP ones are in the spares), which leads me to suspect the shocks are non-original. I think it has the older 6 gear transmission, which I think it rather fragile, but this will only be run gently.
Overall it looks like this was a racer that has been well-used, but not abused.

For £54 plus shipping, I'm very happy.

Stickers on the car say "Riverside Racers" - ring any bells with anyone?
