Awesome Jake! There was a good line up of vintage rides there, even a MUGEN MERCURY! I haven't seen one of those in action in a very VERY long time.
Thanks for sharing your great experience with the rest of us.
Take care my friend. Cheers-Jason

Jason, I figured you would particularly enjoy the pics since you happen to have a wide range of taste for vintage cars. There was another green 2wd car that I had no idea what it was. Any ideas?

Hey Jake, yeah I love them all! My interest in so many manufacturers stems from watching them all in action back in the 80's plus all those glossy adds and write up from RCCA and other magazines really got me sucked in good!

Mate that green bodied cars looks odd. If no one can claim what it actualy is I'd say perhaps a custom creation much like the kind of thing Mr.ED builds.

Edit* Oh wait a minute, there's a decal running down the side of the body and it's called a 'TORNADO'..........

Reg, the B3's ended up finishing 1 and 2. There were several instances where we battled for position but ultimately they were able to pull away. I am chalking it up to them having track experience. I look forward to getting the chance to have another go at the win. We will see.

Yes, the car has some crazy front shocks mounts.

I was eye-ing that car in the group shot of everyone, and was going to ask what it was. Looks to be wearing a losi body to me, from what I can see of the chassis/suspension, nothing seems familiar. :?

Good to see you had some fun with the ProSE you built! Looks great out on the track, and how appropriate to sport red, white, and blue when overseas. Looks like all the locals had a great time too. :D

Thanks to Hyeong (hope I spelled your name right, 59burst!) for getting you connected with the track and the scene! RC Racing, a language we can ALL speak.

two different korean companies sold the same chassis under the different names. one is chadori, another one is tornado.

but the parts are too fragile, and the driver seemed to add his own mods.

This track was located in Yongin, South Korea. Nice track with super friendly people.

There is also another track in Kimpo, South Korea.

If you are interested in hitting the tracks, PM 59Burst since he is a native. I know there is another vintage race taking place in the next week or two at Yongin. I am already back in the US now so no more Korea racing for me.
