Ive always wondered the same thing. Must be extremely stiff composite (tridircomp?) to be any good in 1 layer only.

hence the name 'hot trick'.

they looked 'hot' but the 'trick' was that the parts didn't work so hot.

Sure Hot Trick released hop up parts that often made good cars worse but they do deserve praise for also offering hop-ups to try and turn low budget cars into racers.

 If anyone is looking for a challenging build here's an idea....make a custom Hot Trick conversion kit for a car that never had them but potentially could have.

e.g. Hot Trick Falcon, Hot Trick Icarus/Bandido, Hot Trick Spica Road Runner.

That was exactly my thoughts when I acquired some Hot Trick aluminum control arms for the Optima. They looked hot indeed, but when I saw how they were manufactured, with the hinge pins retained by tiny screws and washers (instead of just having holes drilled through the aluminum, but that's just too logical), it was to laugh.

Wow very nice! I haven't seen that RPS rear shock mount setup before. I assume that came before the SE style rear hoop correct?
